Offline movie database is a simple yet powerful app. Offline Movie Database is an app specially designed for movie lovers, enthusiasts, cinema watchers. It is an app to keep a trace of every movie which has been watched or intended to be watched or the ones which are disliked or ignored. This app is not only limited to movies, but it can also keep a track of songs, dramas and documentaries.
The database is created, stored and managed locally in the mobile phone and is not stored in any cloud; that is why it is called offline. As soon as any entry is added to any list the database is created automatically and stored in the mobile phone memory. The database grows as more entries are added to it.

This app gets its content from The Movie Database. This platform provides access to meta data of millions of movies, TV shows and people.

Watch the latest trailers, discover what to watch, browse through currently playing, popular, upcoming, top rated and trending movies and tv titles all for free. Search for millions of movies and tv series easily. Moreover, high resolution poster and backdrop is displayed with search results. Other data includes genres, rating, release, run time, language, status, budget, revenue.

Once the lists are populated with titles; more functionalities become available to the user which are hidden when the lists are empty. It is possible to search for any title online and search for videos in YouTube directly. All this is performed within the app without jumping into any other app which makes it so convenient and compelling for the user.

How to Operate?
• Select a category from tab menu
• Now select a list from bottom menu
• Click on the add button in order to add a title
• In the new user interface enter all relevant details and save it

• You can save as many titles in a list

Is Internet necessary to use this app?
It is necessary to purchase digital products from play store and to search movies and tv/drama serials online and also to watch videos in YouTube. In any other case it does not require internet to operate neither it requires any login to be created.

It offers digital products which can be purchased to get additional features and unlimited number of entries in various lists.

Back-up and Restore
You can back up (export) and restore (import) the database to and from the mobile phones any storage.

OMD is a versatile app. It offers to catalogue your movies plus it is also possible to search for movie titles online. You can search for a movie by simply typing in the movie name. You can see the details of the movie plus cast. If you wish to add it to your watch list then so can you do with a button click. Its not the end here. Click on the trailer button to watch YouTube videos of it. Told you it offers more than you think of.

This has got to be the best app out there for movie collectors! Being able to have a well-organized, sleek looking display of all of your movies is a godsend, especially if you have nearly 1100 and keep losing them after lending them out or buying doubles lol. Simply tapping on one of your movies bring up a quick snapshot of relevant information. Again as started in the app description, This app does not let you watch anything,it is merely a digital catalogue of your movies that you've added.

I was looking for an app to catalogue my movies. But you know what It offers more than that. You can catalogue movies, drama serials, documentaries and also your favourite songs. Add insult to injury you can watch the YouTube videos of any title with a single click. I wonder I could have got this app much earlier.
