OOGA represents the people and companies directly responsible for the production of crude oil, natural gas, and associated products in Ohio. Expansion of the shale resource play into the Utica has resulted in an expansion of OOGA membership. The core OOGA membership is comprised of independent oil and natural gas producers, major national oil and natural gas producing companies, and major international oil and natural gas companies - companies focused on the exploration, discovery, and production of crude oil, natural gas, and associated liquids in the State of Ohio. OOGA members also include contractors, oilfield service and supply companies, manufacturers, utilities, refineries, accountants, attorneys, consultants, bankers, geologists, geophysicists, petroleum engineers, insurance agents and representatives, trade schools and other members of the education community, royalty owners, landowners, and college students. The Ohio Oil & Gas Association strives to serve the broad range of entities involved in the Ohio oil and natural gas industry by being an effective voice in government and the media as well as an information resource to the membership.
