P.S. Sometime compass needs calibration (not the app limitation!) - in that case make 8 figure with your phone few times.

No ads, no data collection, no error, no permissions, no mobile data, no GPS, no that, no this and no headaches. UPDATE: Unable to find a way to fix the East/West mix up. There's nothing to defend-it doesn't work for me. I agree with the reviewers saying how beautiful this app is...reminiscent of old world maps & naval navigation. My problem is that I live in the high desert of the Rocky Mountains & this app has East & West 180° out. My background is in aviation so I know this app is wrong. I will look too see if there is a way to calibrate & fix this before I uninstall & will further update my results.

Looks really nice, but has the N/S reversed: my home faces almost exactly north, but this app says it faces almost exactly south. Highly inaccurate and doesn't change with calibration. Must be an issue with the app because my handset has a geomagnetic sensor, and I have another compass app which gives the right reading, as tested against a physical compass. This app is no use to me; therefore uninstalled. Pity, it's the most aesthetically pleasing compass I've seen!
