Based on a story that should be true, One Thousand Lies tells the tale of Ciarán Endyein, a liar writing the fable of a wolf longing to reach the Sun.

One day, Ciarán starts receiving enigmatic emails from a mysterious sender, turning his everyday life into a mess of a romantic comedy with psychological themes mixed in. What lies beyond the mystery he's been presented with? In the words of Harry H.: "If you want to know the truth, go find it".

Played through this game thrice now, at very different junctures of my life. Each time I've taken away something different from the story. The dialogue is rich but not snobbily so, the plot unfolds itself without feeling forced or rushed and the ending is a mystery all on its own. What I can say for sure is that this is a story you'd want to replay, because you're bound to notice things you didn't notice the first time around.

For a free game, it was very well done! Plot was intense enough and quite mind convoluting actually! Certainly was food for thought. However, it can be a little dry/heavy if it were to be completed in one seating so I suggest reading it bit by bit. Also, it's basically a novel but with pictures and music so don't expect to "play" anything.

Spicy little VN. Nice twists, good characters, however there is one image I've yet to unlock, the one where the MC is on the rooftop with Claire. Maybe the DEVs can give me some insight? Great VN overall, the psychological themes were explored well, though I did skip quite a bit as I tend to realize when the events presented are important to the story and when they aren't. Good job.
