Driver app for order delivery tracking. This app is used by the drivers and it tracks their location during the delivery. It also senses geo-fencing for the purposes of detecting the driver leaving the store area, as well as detecting the driver entering the customer’s delivery address area.

The background tracking is required as drivers may not have the app open in the foreground during their working day at all times. Tracking is turned on when the driver starts their work day and ends when the driver finishes their work day.
