About this app

This is the mobile application companion to the Michigan State University Pesticide Management Program web site. Using the web site, farm and vineyard managers can evaluate pesticide relative-risk to their workers based on handling and the amount of usage of these materials. The use of the pesticides are tracked using tasks created by the managers. Workers can use the mobile application to view their tasks and to indicate when the task has been completed. The application tracks who completed the task, which material was applied to which field, and, in the case of spraying tasks, where the material was applied, as well as the current weather conditions when the task was started. The application also allows a worker to take and upload a picture of a suspected insect or disease infestation and upload it for review by their manager.
