The PTI tool is designed to support duty holders in the assessment of passenger train interface risk on any platform of a station. This tool is introduced to bring together good practices and promote a consistent and transparent approach across the industry for platform risk assessments.

This application provides railway companies with a means to complete PTI risk assessments at stations without being connected to wi-fi. The tool provides a common, transparent approach to PTI Risk Assessment which will lead to better sharing of information and prioritising of stations requiring attention.
