Pastèque Match is based on INSEE data on first names given in France since 1900, thus offering a very wide choice of first names.

To avoid the impression of repetition, we have chosen to group the first names phonetically by presenting the alternative spellings under the same group. You can therefore have cards that contain several different first names (all of which are pronounced the same way). Among these first names, there can absolutely be masculine AND feminine ones.
