About this app

* The Pentateuch refers to the first five books of the Hebrew Bible (Old
Testament) in the Christian and Jewish traditions.
These books are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
They are also known as the "Five Books of Moses" or the "Torah" in
Judaism. The Pentateuch is considered foundational to both Jewish and
Christian religious traditions, containing narratives of creation, early history,
laws, and commandments.

* The Pentateuch App gives a rich and deep study of the five (5) books of
Moses.

* It begins with a general introduction, acquainting the reader with the
structure and language of the Bible and preparing them to understand
difficult passages of scripture

* Each book (from Genesis to Deuteronomy) begins with an introduction that
looks at the following:
- 1). Title of the book
- 2). Authorship of the book
- 3). Historical Setting
- 4). Theme of the book
- 5). The outline of the book

* After introducing the reader to the books, a verse-by-verse commentary is
given for each chapter, focusing on the historical, economic, social, and
political context of the biblical account.

* Additionally, it allows the reader to explore the deep treasures contained in
these books of the Bible and, by extension, increase faith in God through
the word.

* The app allows the user to create bookmarks on each verse based on their
study and allows the user to create study notes on each bookmarked verse
of scripture.

* The app was designed to allow users to look up scripture and other
references within the app, thus adding the convenience of focusing on the
verse being studied without having to switch to another app.
