Ponjesly College of Education, Nagercoil was established in 2005. Its Affiliated to:Tamilnadu Teachers Educational University. The College is managed under Ponjesly Charity Trust. The College is an educational center of excellence and a dynamic and innovative institution with an unrivalled reputation in the pre-service training of teachers and youth. The aim of the B.Ed College is to impart proper training as per norms and standards of National Council for Teacher Education, Bangalore and of the University of TNTEU, Chennai.
Great importance is given to buildup character to improve intelligence, aptitude, creativity, personality etc. through different psychological tests. Strict adherence to routine, rules and discipline of the college is essential for the satisfactory attainment of the objectives.
Ponjesly Charity Trust was founded in the year 1991. Shri. PON. ROBERT SINGH, a young dynamic, able administrator and an industrialist with visionary zeal founded Ponjesly Public Higher Secondary School in the year 2005. The main objective of the Trust has been focused on starting the Educational Institutions Schools, Engineering Colleges, Teacher Education Colleges, Medical Colleges, Law Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges to provide quality education to the entire student community at all levels. Ponjesly College of Engineering to committed to provide quality technical education to all, and to prepare the students with requisite knowledge, Skills and competency to face the challenges of the changing world of tomorrow. OUR VISION To become a centre of excellence in the field of engineering through futuristic technical education with high moralistic values, to empower students to achieve their full potential to withstand the global competition. OUR MISSION To Provide an outstanding technical education that combines vigorous academic study to experience learning success and become lifelong learners to practice sustainable development.
