About this app

With the PostFinance App, you have your finances under control at all times.
Carry out your banking transactions easily and securely – whether you’re at home or on the go. With the PostFinance App, you can keep track of your accounts, payments and investments. Access is quick and easy with fingerprint or Face Unlock.

All you need to know about your account at a glance
• Check your account balance, keep track of income and expenditure, and analyse what you spend your money on.
• Scan or upload QR-bills, pay eBills directly in the app and send money easily to mobile numbers.
• Documents can also be displayed and shared easily as PDFs.
• Google Pay and PostFinance Pay are available for convenient payment.

Settings and support directly in the app
• Adjust card limits, block or unblock your cards or order a replacement.
• Set up push notifications for credits, debits or eBill.
• You can also change your address or reset your password directly in the app.
• If you have any questions, the PostFinance chatbot will be happy to help you at any time.

Investing and retirement planning made easy
• Track stock market prices, access your custody account and manage your investment products from digital asset management to fund self-service and e-trading.


Digital vouchers and prepaid credit
• Buy or gift vouchers for Google Play, PaysafeCard and many other providers or top up prepaid credit for your mobile phone.

Security is top priority
Your data is optimally protected using modern encryption methods. For even greater security, we recommend keep-ing the operating system and all apps up to date. General information on security
• Keeping your data secure is our top priority. A multi-stage encryption and identification process ensures that only you have access to your accounts.
• Google Play Store must be preinstalled on your device. Manual installation of the Store and installation of the PostFinance App via this channel or downloading the PostFinance App via a third-party provider are not permitted.
• PostFinance observes the provisions of Swiss data protection legislation when collecting and processing per-sonal data. In all areas of its online product range, comprehensive technical tools and organizational measures are used to protect against unauthorized access, manipulations and data loss.
• If you lose your mobile phone and/or your SIM card or if there is reason to suspect misuse, please contact our Customer Center immediately on +41 58 448 14 14.

Important information
For regulatory reasons, the app does not support onboarding or sign-up to new products and services for people who are not domiciled in Switzerland. For customers living abroad, the app acts as a login mechanism for their exist-ing relationship with PostFinance.

EDIT: The app has seen some new updates, so now it is working with GOS as well. 3* And multiple devices feature??? OLD: Only and single banking app which does not work with GrapheneOS. Tested 6 more banking apps from Germany and Switzerland. Time to move to another bank, Postfinance really does not get it done. Furthermore, it works only on single device, unlike all other banking apps. They are bragging something about security, but actually not able to provide user friendly and secure software.

Thank you for your feedback. You can log in to the app on various devices. To resolve the GrapheneOS issue, you can disable the Secure App Spawning feature in your settings. We are working on an alternative solution as quickly as possible.

the worst bank and online banking app in the world. I had many accounts in several countries. I never saw a worse app and a bank than that. we use twint to have money quickly on our account. but most of the time, money comes on the account the first next day. I have called customer service. and they are telling it can take up to 24 hours. if so, then why do I use twint? they should just remove the twint to stop fooling the people. so bad. so bad. so bad.

EDIT: The latest version is (imo), a "downgrade". With the old version I could scan my payment slips and pay them at my leisure. Now it asks me to pay them immediately. I don't always want to pay bills at once. EDIT: Answering the comment from Postfinance. You said that it would be available in the future. That was in 2022. EDIT: I keep getting notifications informing me about "successful" payments. Up to two weeks afterwards! EDIT: I add a tag, then go back and return to add a second.

Thank you for your feedback! We offer different types of notifications. In your case, these are booking confirmations, which are sent as push notifications once the actual account transaction has been completed.

What's new

Troubleshooting: the PostFinance App is subject to on-going development and optimization to improve the user experience. Our app now requires Android 8.1 or later. This update improves security, stability, and compatibility with new features. Older Android versions are no longer supported.
