Capture and Combine: This app enables you to seamlessly capture the front and back sides of items like postcards and business cards in continuous shots. It automatically merges them into a single image file, ensuring perfect alignment.


【How to Use】
Detection Assistance: When the camera recognizes a rectangular shape, it displays a red border on the preview screen, guiding you to position the item correctly for capturing.

When you capture the front and back sides in continuous shots, they will be combined and output as a single PNG file.

If you want to cancel the image taken as the first shot, press the menu button to display the menu screen.

Flexible Settings: Customize your capture preferences by choosing the "No detection" option to combine two uncorrected images or selecting a shooting mode to capture only one side of the item. You can also lock the shooting direction to vertical or horizontal.


(Note)
Important: When capturing images, ensure consistent orientation between the front and back sides. For example, if you capture the front side vertically in the first shot, capture the back side vertically as well. Check the camera icon on the shutter button for the shooting direction.

In this app, the shape of the postcard is identified through image recognition processing. For example, if you have a postcard with a predominantly white color, place it on a table with a dark color to ensure clear contrast when capturing the image.


【Specifications】
You can choose the destination for image output, either internal memory or SD card, on the menu screen. The captured images will be saved in the following folders:
(Internal memory) Pictures
(SD card) /storage/sdcard1/android/data/knse.knsenewyearcaedcapturer/files

The file names will be formatted as the prefix specified in the menu (default: "BothSidesScanner_") + yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mm-ss.png.

If you are using this app on a tablet, please change the device setting to "Tablet" from the menu screen. (Tablet devices have a standard landscape orientation, requiring a switch in the image recognition process)

You can also specify a fixed ratio in the settings. This allows for faster and more accurate processing when dealing with standard postcards in continuous mode. For example, if using a Japanese government-issued postcard (100mm × 148mm), set it as "1.48".

An internet connection is required for license authentication in this app.
