Pro Loco of the village of Cameri, local tourist and artistic information and events.

The Pro Loco di Cameri Association was born from the will of a group of six citizens attentive to what the future could reserve for the Community.

Strengthened by the experience gained with the previous "Committee for Patronal celebrations of Cameri", they were able to focus on the cornerstones of tourism potential and the cultural solidity of the territory and its community.

On June 26, 1995, at the office of Notary Gabriele Salerno in Novara, today's Association was established with the aim of carrying out its activity in favor of tourism development, the protection and enhancement of natural beauties, of the historical-monumental heritage, environmental and cultural.

The objectives that the Association aims to pursue are those contained in the articles of association.

- To bring together in association all those who have an interest in the tourist development of the territory

- Carry out active work to organize the locality for tourism:
protection and enhancement of natural beauties
protection and enhancement of the historical-monumental and environmental heritage

- Promote and organize:
conferences, excursions, public performances, celebrations, sporting events, social solidarity initiatives

- Develop hospitality and environmental tourism education

- Stimulate the improvement of infrastructures and accommodation

- Take care of the regular performance of local services of interest to tourism

- Collaborate with the competent bodies in supervising the conduct of public and private services of tourist interest

- Take care of information and reception of tourists, also with the opening of special offices

- Promote and develop activities in the social and voluntary sector for the population:
specific tourist proposals for the elderly;
design and construction of social spaces for education, training and entertainment;
initiatives aimed at eliminating any pockets of marginalization;
initiatives aimed at creating tourist and educational itineraries for school groups.
