I am using it with an HVAC thermostat and it is working well. not a smooth app, but does the job of remotely controlling the thermostat. some of the features are a little glitchy (scheduler may not be working right, temp rang did not work right - turns on heater once the a/c hits the temp so it is going back and forth, turned that feature off). no problem synching to the unit via wifi, but only likes to work on 2.4 ghz wifi. needs an upgrade to 5ghz like most new systems. over all its ok.

It has many glitches and doesn't provide much except to turn off my air purifier. It does allow connection of other devices made for Provirtec possibly other companies. Often get messages about the filter needing replaced, even though it's new, but no reason not ability to turn off the menu repeated notices. Links to Amazon but to wrong products.

the app completely sucks. no schedule, no real control other than on/off. the past levels don't show up. the app is just a mess. I would have been better off if the humidifier had just come with a simple remote.
