About this app

This app was developed as part of a project by the Center for Technology, Restoration and Valorization of the Arts, Techn&Art, of the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, financed by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), and in partnership with the Abrantes City Council and the Order of Architects.
The objective was to develop a virtual guide through an itinerary of 16 buildings designed by the architect Raul Lino da Silva or Raul Lino (1879-1974), between 1919 and 1951, in Abrantes, a city in the central interior of Portugal.
This application for mobile devices is aimed at the cultural tourism sector and allows visitors to identify and locate the buildings on the itinerary and access various information about them, such as the year of the project, the main formal characteristics of the buildings or the materials and systems construction materials used, as well as some biographical data about the architect.
