About this app

Do you know the feeling of finding a great icon pack but upon installing you find the design to just be inconsistent? You love the look of many icons, but others just don't fit the guidelines and ruin the icon pack.

Well, Reduze is different.
It's consistent.

Reduze merges Google's Material Design and Material You
while setting itself apart from any other icon pack you've seen.

The 950+ icons have a flat circular design and come in 7 carefully chosen colors. All icons get completely recreated and elaborately improved to be perfectly consistent.

There's also dynamic calendar support and a matching clock widget.

I'm fully aware a lot of popular apps are still missing so please send an icon request for those and be a little patient. Thanks :)

To apply this icon pack you need to use a supported launcher like one of the following:
Nova, Action, ADW, Hyperion, Lawnchair, Niagara, Pixel, Smart, Poco, …
However most other launchers should work too, just try!

Adaptive Icons:
I think this tech is very cool, and I considered switching to adaptive icons when it first became possible. However, I decided against it because I optimize my designs specifically for the circle shape. If they were a different shape, I’d design many of them differently to make optimal use of the space. So even though I like customizability, in this case I prioritize perfection.

Paid Version:
If I did this, I’d feel obligated to ship regular updates, and I simply have way too many other projects running to take on more responsibilities. So please take this as a gift from me. Either it’s useful to you as it is, or you can choose any of the other great icon packs on the Play Store.

Outdated Icons:
One of the projects I’m working on is an icon pack manager. It will give me a clear side-by-side comparison between the current official app icons and the pack’s icons. Once that’s working properly, outdated icons will be much easier for me to spot.

Rare Updates:
Here’s how I spend my time:
– Full-time job as a media designer (print shop, laser cutting, 3D printing, more)
– Web dev, mostly apps we use at our company: book-cover designer, imposition and cutting-machine software, copy-shop counter, and a few more internal tools (currently private, but I plan to release them at some point)
– Spiritual clothing brand: https://8ix.cc/
– YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@leon8ix
– Reduze icon pack + icon pack manager web app
So I won’t forget about Reduze—it’s dear to my heart and it’s what really taught me design—but I very rarely find the time to work on it.

❤️ Love to all, who read all this. – Leon (8ix)

Great icons, very minimal. the only thing that I don't quite like is the fact that it is not adaptive. Other than that, it is flawless in every way. (But some of the base android apps don't have icons.) This could be paid but I still would get it. Update: Just found out a few icons are quite outdated, including Firefox and Zoom Second update: WOW that was a fast reply! Incredible dedication. Also Zoom reduced the logo to 2 letters briefly

Thank you so much for your detailed review. ❤️ I was going to answer in detail, but Google limits me to 350 chars. 😢 So I added an FAQ section to the description above to answer your questions. 😁 Thanks for the hints – Zoom: I'm not doing a four letter word as an icon and they shouldn't either – Firefox: I'm happy they simplified it and will upd

I really like the style of these icons, but I don't understand why some of them are grey and white; Google photos for example. It makes them stand out, in a bad way. Any way you could add color options for those icons? I'd gladly pay for a premium version with that feature.

I liked the app, but few MIUI icons are missing. I did request them today, last time it was sent using my office email that just failed to deliver the mail. waiting to see the updated icons. CHEERS !! Edit - Icons Updated in a day ! For a free app, the dev support is truly amazing.
