This not a free App, it does offer a limited period demo option.. This app is meant for serious students of Indian classical/light classical and bollywood music. It offers 7 days trial subscription which can be cancelled. This is tabla/taanpura app and is meant for students and enthusiast of Indian Music as a practice tool that provides accompaniment.

No authentication needed once you purchase, user can sign in anonymously. Demo mode requires email authentication.If you sign in with your email, you will not loose your settings.

This app provides realistic sounds of Indian Drone Taanpura, and Rhythm Instrument Tabla. It provides reach features to play different styles, vary tempo and pitch. It also has a style maker (Taal Maker) for tabla that allows you to build your own styles.
It has built in harp like instrument "Swar Mandal" that can be set to required ascending and descending notes as per Raaga. It can be played in a loop or played live. The app is designed make your accompaniment experience enjoyable and flawless. Manjira accompaniment to some built in Taals is provided.

Background player is limited and the feature is being worked on due to cpu optimization issues.


Internet connection is required for the app to start only for first time. The data is saved on cloud. App size is only 74 MB.

It includes a recorder that includes your audio along with all instruments. The recorded audio can be conveniently shared.
It has feature called "Pitch Perfect" that allows the singer to verify his/her shruti to the point of perfection.

The tool is not meant for live performances.

I have been using the paid version of this app for a while now. It worked well in the beginning, but now am facing several infuriating issues. 1) I am being shown as logged out, though I did not log out of the app. Any time I attempt to log in again, my attempts are unsuccessful. 2) Despite the 'Pro' name, several important taals such as Dhamar are not included in the library. 3) The app has been lagging of late. No other apps being used in background, still, this app gives no response.

There is no option to change the type of taal. It's always teental. This is the reply after developer response. Even though I click on done it's playing any other taal except teental. Now nothing is playing after selecting and clicking on done. Earlier it was user friendly but now it's good for nothing. I have purchased for lifetime the paid version for tabla only. But after that it became so complected to use. And now it's even not playing a simple taals. Help to resolvthe problem if possible.

Why call it tabla pro when you do not give a bit of it for trial? I installed it to play tabla, it bombarded me with a cluster of stuff, and the next thing I know, I have to purchase * tabla * features to play, and it gives you Free tanpura. The least you could do was add a single theka at a single scale. Really disappointed with it. Hoping for a solution.
