This FREE app is a must-have for MN drivers’ education students preparing to take the Permit Test. Written by Safeway, Minnesota’s largest driving school, the questions come directly from the MN Dept of Public Safety Driver’s Manual. Don’t be fooled by other “Minnesota” apps that teach you to file a crash report in California (why?) or to parallel park within 18” of the curb (not). The Safeway app covers Vanessa’s Law and other laws that are important for YOU to know if you want to pass your test!

A 40-question sample test created randomly from over 200 questions gives you a score immediately so you know which questions to work on. OR study from specific chapters of the MN Driver’s Manual.

after waiting months after originally taking the class to take the knowledge test, I downloaded this 4 hours before. I passed with 100%. Every single possible question is here, and as long as you heavily study each section until it's memorized, you'll pass with flying colors. It isn't perfect, it's not the prettiest app. But it gets the job done. EDIT: last updated in 2020! Helped me prepare for my 2022 permit test, even though some question wording has changed. No ads!

It's pretty useful for studying for the road test but i can't say I'm a fan of the design and it's a bit difficult to use at some points but it did help me pass my permit test so i can't complain too much lol
