About this app

How to register
To use our mobile app you must be registered to use our online banking service. If you aren’t already registered to use our online banking service, please call us on 0800 072 1100 or visit your local branch; opening times are available on our website.
During the app registration process you will need to enter your online banking User ID, password and memorable details into the app. You will then need to set up a 5 digit pass code for the app which you can use next time you log in.
What can you do?
• View all your savings accounts in one place (personal and corporate)
• View your account balance and current interest rate
• View transactions and those scheduled for the future
• View and manage your personal details
• View, send and receive secure messages
• View your account documents
• Transfer money to another Saffron savings account
• Transfer money to your existing nominated bank account
• Set up and manage transfers to your existing nominated bank account for a future date
• Change the name of your accounts to something more personal, like ‘Rainy Day Savings’
• View information about our branches , such as locations, opening times and facilities

• Set up a Savings Goal on your account(s)
• Tell us your maturity instructions
• Reset your login information within the app
• Please ensure you have the latest software on your phone so that our app works efficiently and is easy to use

Ratings and reviews

This app has a few rough edges, but generally works well. More worrying is the lack of opportunities to earn competative savings interest. The floor for me is NS&I who pay 1.16% instant access on between £500 and £1 million. Any organisation paying less than this will not get any of my money until I have filled up NS&I, which could take me a while! I can't see a need for this app (except for closing down accounts!) for most people unless savings rates improve dramatically.

Seems good on paper but everything is not user friendly to use. The only easy thing to understand is their website, customer support is very nice but once you create an account, it's all up in the air from there. App isn't helpful at all and I'm not sure but it doesn't seem like you can see your bank details on the site either. Sort code? Account number? Name on account? I'm not even sure the email contains the correct info for your account either. I sent £20 into the void to test this...

Now unusable as it crashes on login. Worked fine for 10 months but unable to access in last few weeks so having to use web login.
