Welcome to Saveful, the free app serving up all kinds of savings!

Did you know that 70% of food binned by Australians is perfectly edible? That’s a fact that’s particularly hard to swallow given that 80% of us are feeling the pinch of the rising cost of living^. Saveful unleashes your food’s potential so you can save food, money and time.

How do we do it? Through our flexible meal frameworks (how chefs cook!). Instead of a rigid list of specific ingredients, our frameworks use core components that let you sub in what you’ve already got in your kitchen and pantry – while guiding you to make great-tasting meals.

It's a nice concept, but I didn't like the execution. Inconsistencies with vegetable name (some called by their scientific name, some by their general public name), because of that search of ingredients that I have at home is hard because I don't know those scientific names for vegetables. Moreover, veggie database is very limited. They don't have even some basic stuff like let's say green onions. I thoughts I'd list ingredients I have and they give me recipe suggestions, but it doesn't work.

Saveful is a free app that helps you reduce food waste, save money, and cook delicious meals. It is very easy to use: you just select the ingredients you have or want to use, and the app will suggest recipes that match your preferences and dietary needs. You can also browse through categories like breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts, and more. The app also shows you the nutritional information, cooking time, and difficulty level of each recipe

Postcode glitch. It let's me sign in but it asks for a postcode. It doesn't give me the option to use the keyboard so I can only enter numbers. When I use Google voice typing and give my full postcode, it tells me that I am wrong so I can't continue forward with the app.
