About this app

Screen Alive Elite has features to allow your device to keep screen awake always or till a specific duration of inactivity. You can make it smart enough to keep screen on while charging or switch to a lower timeout when the device battery is low.

You can keep the notification on and use the overlay button - a new concept to enforce your device to keep screen on. Keeping the overlay button on your screen can also help you to keep screen on during calls.

A resizable widget is available as well that you can add to your home screen. Additionally, quick settings and notifications are given to keep you updated of the settings. All of this with No-Ads! It works solidly on Android 12, thank you! The only shortcoming for me is that the widget is white on bright yellow and an odd shape. It is way too bright on my mostly dark screen and is harder to read than it needs to be. I will also never use that pull out flag. It would be great to have a few widget options which are simple toggle buttons in basic colors. It would be even better if I could choose the background, off-bulb and on-bulb colors myself. What do you think? Thanks for a great app!

This is the only working solution that I've found for keeping the screen on during calls! I was already using it for things like keeping the screen on during drive throughs and similar situations, and it worked great. However, I also needed the screen on during calls because my phone kept turning the screen off even when using the loudspeaker or with headphones. So after working a bit with it I realized you have to have the overlay on during the calls, which I hadn't been doing, and it works!!

UPDATE: I'd say I wasted my money. PREVIOUSLY: Seems to work but causes "Unable to write to System Settings" error messages when attempting to access the app at certain times and during phone restarts. I'd like to be able to use this app without those error messages, obviously. I also suspect this app interferes with overall normal system functionality but that's harder to pin down. I've reinstalled it to try and find out and decide if I wasted my money. Samsung Galaxy A20, Android 10.
