About this app

I want to read a barcode visible on the screen, but I do not have a camera to read. I want to read it later, not now. Sometimes, sometimes not?

Screen scanners are occasionally helpful. If you put it in, the timing to use may come.

The supported formats are as follows.

1D barcodes: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code-39, Code-93, Code-128, ITF, Codabar
2D barcodes: QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF-417, AZTEC

Reading technology uses Google's Mobile Vision.

Drains battery a lot, and reading a code on screen doesn't work... it always says it can't detect it. So you have to screenshot the qr code, crop it to make it full screen, save that as a seperate image, then open the app and scan the image instead. It's just a hastle to use, and there are a lot of better similar apps. The only good part of this app, is that it shows you the Link, before immediately opening it.

Same experience as others. This doesn't appear to work on Android 10. The icon gets to be overlayed on the screen but nothing happens when I click and hold it. The notification icon to scan the screen just opens up the app again and Android warns of the security issue. The result is that the app is scanning itself _ normally the test QR code. So not working for me yet, but great idea. EDIT. V1.2.1 has the same issue

On huawei p30 pro Head mode does not work. When tap/hold on the capture head it just moves down and goes into drag mode instead of afticating the menu. On notification mode, when tapping on the notification it pops up the screen scanner app which prevents scanning the actual app i wamted to scan. As a workaround I need to close the scanner app after activating notification mode. Then I can successfully scan the screen.
