About this app

Shearwater Cloud links your mobile device to your Shearwater dive computer. It allows you to download and manage your dive logs, update your dive computer firmware, and use cloud storage.

Using Bluetooth technology, you can quickly and easily download your dive logs to Shearwater Cloud. Once your logs are downloaded you can analyze your depth, decompression profile, temperature, and much more.

The defining feature of Shearwater Cloud is the ability to store your dives via the cloud. Cloud storage provides accessibility to your dives on any mobile device with an internet connection. In addition, dive logs can be recovered should the dive logs be lost on a local storage.

Shearwater Cloud is compatible with Peregrine, Teric, Perdix, Perdix AI, Perdix 2, Petrel, Petrel 2, Petrel 3, NERD, NERD 2 and Predator.

Shearwater make the best dive computers by far. But this once quite good app is now terrible. It seems to decline with every new update. Always seems to be syncing issues. Doesn't scroll properly. The most enoying thing is the silly dive feed display. I used to be able to scroll through the dive list to find a specific wreck quit easily but now looks cluttered with dive site and location on one line. Great computers and extremely helpful staff though. Shame about the app.

I am using this app on my phone, my tablet and the windows version on my laptop. While syncing between these devices used to work, it doesn't anymore. Info I enter on one device, does not appear on the others. The dive is visible, but not the text I entered in the Dive Notes or even in the Location fields. Also annoying - I enter a lot of text about a eventful dive, get distracted shortly and my phone display turns off - all the text I just entered is gone. This is no fun logging dives anymore

More than once, I went into the app settings to disable Auto Log Download. But every time I connect to a Shearwater computer, it downloads all of the dives. I use rental computers. I DON'T WANT TO SEE OR DOWNLOAD TONS OF OTHER PEOPLE'S DIVE LOGS. I THEN HAVE TO DELETE EACH DIVE ONE BY ONE BECAUSE THERE IS NO OPTION TO SELECT ALL OF THEM TO DELETE ALL AT THE SAME TIME. THIS IS A HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME.
