After trying several music apps on my phone, all of which inundated me with ads, even to just look at my music, and all of which eventually froze and I had to uninstall, I finally found this app. It's very basic, no ads, and it loads quickly and just plays my music, which is all I wanted in the first place! Thanks!

Is that specific set of audio files or all files? This is intended behavior: if there were unexpected errors during playback - file will be marked as corrupted, but on successful play error clears, exactly as you described. This needs to be reproduced, perhaps you have more details? Perhaps specific file format?

Unusable. I've got all my music on local storage on my tablet because I can't stand streaming music services with ads. I wanted to play music while I sleep. This app has started refusing to play my music from my local storage because it can't find the files in cloud storage. I never put anything in cloud storage because it's a capitalist scam that only poses risks to the user. I cannot find the setting to make this stop happening. The music is in my LOCAL STORAGE. PLAY IT FROM MY LOCAL STORAGE.
The application strictly plays local files and does not force cloud usage. Disappearing files are typically caused by Android storage glitches, SD card unmounts, or external app deletions. The app simply reports that the local file is unavailable. A completely offline "Lite" version without cloud features is planned for the near future.

I wish that there was a way to sort an artist's albums on their page instead of it being solely alphabetical. I would also like to sort what artist are at the top of the artist section rather than it being by who has the most songs. I would mostly like to see broader options for organizing, but other than that, I LOVE this app and use it every day. edit: I would also like to be able to change an album's art without having to do it individually for each song.

Sorting options for the main artists list are already available in the toolbar menu. Sorting for within an artist's screen is noted for the future. Batch editing of album art across multiple tracks is a planned feature, but with low priority.
