The Simple Scanner is a PDF document scanner application that turns your phone into a portable scanner. you can scan documents, photos, receipts, reports, or just about anything. The scan will be saved to the device in image or PDF format. Name and organize your scan to a folder, or share it in the following ways:

Ratings and reviews

This used to work perfectly. Now I find I need to do a lot of retakes and clicks to get the document image I need. It's no longer so "simple". The ads have gotten more intrusive also.. they try to trick you into clicking on them. It's a free app so I get the ads, but don't appreciate the tactics.

I stopped using this app. suddenly the adds became really offensive and invasive. impossible to shut down the video from the add. and the content of one of the add was very dubious, showing fake news and shocking pictures. I'll use "open scan" instead. shame really. it was simple to use and efficient. but ethically and morally I don't want to be forced to see this type of fake news adda in a productivity app

So this app forced me into an upgrade otherwise I couldn't continue scanning. It was $4.99, plus tax probably. If I wasn't so desperate to send over school work ASAP, I would've looked for a different, better app. You can't even send the images through text messages if you wanted to. I'm trying to find a way to go around it by saving the image to my phone, but it's proving to be difficult and time consuming. I should've just looked for a new app. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP.
