This app is suitable for customers of Sparda-Bank West eG.

With the Sparda banks' free app, you can do your mobile banking anywhere conveniently from your smartphone or tablet.

Features:
• View current account balance
• Fast login with fingerprint (from Android 6.0 - please note that we currently do not support older fingerprint sensors that are not natively supported by Google's fingerprint hardware for security reasons.)
• Registration including online PIN assignment for new customers
• Carry out transfers and appointment transfers – also using photo transfers
• Cashless payment with VIMpay: Top up your VIMpay account with the SpardaApp and pay with your smartphone at the checkout (at participating Sparda banks)
• Convenient transaction approval with the SpardaSecureApp
• Administration of the SpardaSecureApp
• Set up, change and delete standing orders
• SpardaBargeld: Pay out and deposit cash without a BankCard. Simply generate a barcode and redeem it in stores (at participating Sparda banks).

Security:
• The application is secured by an individual password (master password).
• Highest application security through encryption of the customer number and online PIN using a device-specific token.
• SSL-encrypted data transfer
• Transaction approval procedure: In addition to the chip TAN procedure, the SpardaSecureApp is available for convenient transaction approval.

Requirements for using photo transfer:
To use the photo transfer you need a mobile device
• Accelerometers
• Camera
• Camera flash / photo light
• Autofocus

Please also note:
• We recommend an Android operating system version 5.0 or higher to operate the app.
• User-specific data will be migrated as part of the version update. This includes created bank details and the master password, provided this corresponds to the security guidelines of the current application (at least six characters).

Ratings and reviews

No documents in the app, still have to go on the website to get my monthly statements or others. Pain in the backside getting a remit done, as one must have the secure app etc.. When something's not working one has to contact and will be provided with papers by MAIL, which takes days!!! Would be nice if this bank would go with the time and get more modern. Have a look at other banks, like the BOS - they are fairly hassle free and easy to work with! Typisch Deutsch! Stock im Bobbes!

This app has literally no function other than redirect and force you to download another app called "teo". Would be great if you at least had the choice of using this app or the other one... Nicht nutzbar, man wird gezwungen "teo" herunterzuladen. Kurzgesagt ist diese App einfach nur eine Weiterleitung zu der anderen App. Die Freiheit zwischen dem und "teo" auszuwählen sollte zumindest gewährleistet sein...

Way too many steps to navigate through. Log in easy enough, rest of the things are a bit of a search. However somewhat useful when you need to do online banking, but by far not the nicest/easiest/clearest to use.
