I had given it a 5 star a year ago or so. This week they changed the app when they updated it. They did more than fix bugs and update. It now only allows 3 mistakes. There are x's in the upper left corner keeping track. You have to watch a advertisement if you want to continue the game. I will probably uninstall it.

It was the best Sudoku app I had found, an ad or two at the end of the game... fine. Recent updates are resulting in multiple ads even in a 5 to 7 minute solve. This is unacceptable and a real shame, too. Good luck with all that awesome revenue with loud, unmuteable, 2-minute long ads that are repeative.

How this managed a 4.8 is beyond my comprehension; I was forced to give this a "1". I played 2 games and had to find the "uninstall" button. Purporting to be "easy on the eyes" was actually a very in your face experience with garish colors and a very simplistic look. The old look was classic and refined, allowing one to set the game up to one's preferences. If i cant use the older interface, I will have to find another Sudoku game.
