The Tät®ll app is developed for women with urgency or mixed urinary incontinence. The app contains information about lifestyle factors and advice for self-care. Other functions require an activation code since the app is used in a research study, see tät.nu, and only study participants have full access.
The complete Tät®ll app that is used in research contains treatment programs for bladder training, pelvic floor muscle training and thoughts/behaviors, advice on self-care as well as functions for reminders and statistics. It was developed by researchers at Umeå University for the treatment of urine leakage in connection with urges (urgency incontinence) and for urine leakage both in connection with urges and during exertion (mixed incontinence). Research studies have shown that self-treatment with the Tät®ll app results in significant improvement in urine leakage, incontinence symptoms and urges and leads to a better quality of life. Improvement was reported in 87% of the participating women in the study. For more information, see tät.nu.
At the moment Tät®ll is used in a research study where the effect of implementation in connection with usual care is evaluated. More information about the study and registration for the study, see tät.nu. If you have questions about the app or the study, you can also contact us via tat.am@umu.se.
The Tät®ll app is CE-marked according to regulations for medical device, class l according to Regulation (EU) 2017/745 MDR.
