With the TL VMS App, you can now access and configure speed and message settings in your VMS Sign,
without Internet connection.
Login for the first-time:
Download the app from Google Play on your Android mobile device. Select the VMS Sign to connect. The
TL VMS app verifies if you are authorized to login. Once confirmed, the app redirects you to the main page.
The main page:
The main page of the TL VMS App displays:
» Connected to sign with serial number and model type
» Sign name
» Signs current location
» Sign serial #
» Current battery status
» Current sign mode (Stealth / Speed & Message / Message only)
» Two icons to configure Settings and Advanced settings
Configuring the Settings:
In settings, there are three modes available: Stealth Mode, Display Speed & Message Mode, and Message
only Mode. Select a mode to update and save the settings.
1. Stealth Mode:
The Stealth Mode displays speed limit and tolerated speed. You can modify and save the settings or switch
to a different mode. The TL VMS App sends the updated settings to Logix On Cloud. Apply the modified
settings either to a particular sign that is configured or to all the available signs in a group.
2. Speed & Message Mode:
This mode displays current display and message settings. You can modify and save the display settings.
The message settings also enables you to create and save new messages for four different ranges:
minimum to speed limit, speed limit to tolerated speed, above tolerated speed to maximum display, and
above speed range.
3. Message only Mode:
Current speed limit, tolerated speed limit, and current message settings are displayed in this mode. You
can configure and save the settings either on a specific sign that is configured or on all the available signs
associated with your Logix On Cloud account.
Configuring the Advanced Settings:
The Advanced Settings of the app enables you to configure and save the brightness and current radar
detection settings.
Syncing updated settings configured via app with Logix On Cloud:
You can sync the updated settings in your VMS Sign with Logix On Cloud when there is proper network
coverage. The app updates your Logix On Cloud settings and also verifies any new sign added to your
account. Your newly added signs are saved with serial number on the TL VMS App.
Data download and deletion:
The TL VMS App makes your traffic data download easy. The following messages are displayed during the
data download:
» Progress of the download
» Successful data download, or error message if the data download is unsuccessful.
You can delete the data from the sign when the download is complete.
