Toluca Red Devils my Passion is a tribute to this soccer team that in recent years has become a true revelation in the first division of Mexican soccer, always being in the leading places of the league and the championship group.
Deportivo Toluca Football Club S.A. de C.V., also known as Club Deportivo Toluca, is a professional soccer team that currently participates in the First Division of Mexico. It was officially founded on February 12, 1917 by a board of trustees headed by Manuel Henkel Bross and Román Ferrat Alday. Its headquarters are located in the city of Toluca, State of Mexico, in the Nemesio Díez Stadium, also known as "La Bombonera".
Throughout the history of Mexican soccer, Deportivo Toluca has become the soccer team with the third most championships won in the First Mexican Division with a total of 10 titles, behind Club América with 13 and Club Deportivo Guadalajara, which It has 12. Since the establishment of the short tournaments in 1996 and throughout its history, Toluca has also won other national and international titles such as: the Copa México, twice; the Champion of Champions, in 4; the Concacaf Champions Cup on 2 occasions and during the amateur season the Mexican State Championship on 14 occasions.34
On the other hand, despite being one of the oldest teams in Mexico, with 100 years of history, the professional era for Toluca began in 1950, that is, 33 years after its foundation, becoming one of the founding teams of the Mexican Second Division and the fourth team with the most seasons in the Mexican First Division. It is together with Cruz Azul, Santos and UNAM, one of the clubs in the current top circuit, which since its promotion or appearance, have not been relegated or have been absent from the top circuit.
It is considered the team of the 2000s in Mexican soccer, being the top winner of this with four titles.
