About this app

TagMax, from the makers of the CattleMax cattle management software, is an app for farmers and ranchers to utilize their EID Readers and Weigh Scales to work cattle efficiently. The app connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to your compatible EID reader and/or weigh scale indicator.

SESSIONS MODE - SCAN CATTLE AS THEY ARE WORKED IN THE CHUTE

• Create sessions of dates, pastures, or other working groups
• Open a session and review individual animal scans
• Scan EID tags to a session, including date/time and GPS location
• Automatically record an animal's weight from a connected scale indicator
• Optionally enter the corresponding Visual ID (Ear Tag) and/or weight
• Record additional data up to 25 custom fields
• Email a session file back to the office or another recipient
• Export a session to your CattleMax account
• Works offline - no Internet connection is required

CATTLEMAX MODE - SCAN CATTLE AND VIEW THEIR FULL HISTORY IN CATTLEMAX

Quickly look up and retrieve cattle records in CattleMax cattle management software. Connect your EID tag reader to your mobile device, tap the CattleMax menu item, and scan. The CattleMax feature requires an active CattleMax account (trial or customer) and an Internet connection.

Would be a really great app if it wouldn't keep crashing. It no longer tries to connect to anything Bluetooth. It used to connect to the stick reader, but not anymore, and it never would connect to the scale moniter. I used the tru-test XRS2i reader and tru-test ID5000

version 6.2.2 on Galaxy S21 FE does not show a Bluetooth button to connect a reader.

the app quit working. The app closes seconds after opening. I reinstalled, shut down and rebooted my phone 3 times on each. Still didn't work. Uninstalled
