No ads and nice UI, but sadly the formula is wrong. They are averaging the bpm of consecutive taps instead of the interval causing an inflation of bpm, that is worse the more irregular one is tapping, i.e. double tapping on one bar and skipping the next one should still give the true bpm after the third bar, but it's way of.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We indeed calculate the average BPM of the last 16 taps. If I understand correctly, you're expecting the app to calculate the BPM among the last 2 taps? If that's not the case, could you please clarify? I'd be happy to help. Feel free to mail me at c.daniel.felix@gmail.com

Interesting app. It does not "listen" to the music playing in ambience and measure the BPMs - instead it relies on you using your finger to tap the screen "to the music" in order to measure BPM. I used Tove Lo's " True Disaster" to test it and found that most of the song is 85 BPM but leading up to chorus it gets faster so like 120+. The drawback to this is I have a neuro disability that makes my hands too unsteady to tap with much accuracy.

Love it. Keeping it simple. Would have loved to see averages over a few different time or tap count spans, e.g. last 10/20/N. Right now, I don't know what average I'm looking at, but it does not seem to be over the entire time span since the last reset, which sort of makes the reset function a tad pointless. 🤔🙂

Hello! I'm glad you're finding the app useful. We've added the setting you described in the latest update. As an introductory test, we added some presets from 3 to 15 taps of calculation. If you have a moment, please let me know how it feels and if there's something you'd change. Any other feedback is welcome at c.daniel.felix@gmail.com. Thanks!
