It was once really fun, and it still is a good time. Too many changes to gameplay have made it harder unfortunately. It's way too easy to just disappear now. Back in my day, you could have been reduced to a single pixel and kept going. Not in any game-changing way, but still there. Now capturing the smaller islands feels pointless if only to get more resources seeing as you lose if you get, like, 80% of your mainland territory conquered

The game is amazing, but the new update changed the game too much. Impossible mode is now easy to beat, and the custom match menu is confusing. The menu is fine, I just feel like it could be fixed a bit to make it easier to understand. Also, making impossible mode even more challenging will be a lot of fun and better, in my opinion. Besides that, the game is awesome.

I love the new boat mechanics. They add an insane amount of depth and strategy to the game. The only big thing keeping this game from 5 stars imo is the new stalemate. I just don't see a reason for it and some other people on YouTube and whatnot agree that it is a pointless feature. Very fun gameplay though. Also, it would be nice to have some more specific mechanics when it comes to attacking. Like an option to attack on one area instead of along all the borders you share with another player.
