Been enjoying my experience for the last 45 days but the free draws not moving our upgraded pulls is not good. The game isn't the most predatory but the in game diamond system isn't cheap. The merge system gets WAY TO expensive. That you have to only spend resources on it. To the point, I've stopped progress on getting stronger troops unless I get a free spin ticket or freebies from some other fashion. The late introduction of the defensive options was a bit of a bummer too, but it works.

I like it a lot. Been playing since global launch. Fun casual mechanics and aesthetic pixel work. There's even a little merge mini game that I really like. There are no forced ads. That being said, many things are locked behind ads like some daily quest rewards. But you can play without watching them. So I think that's reasonable. Definitely try it if you like semi idle rpg party games.

For an idle game, it's decent enough as a few minutes time waster, but there are flaws. I won't comment on the ads as they have been mentioned enough, but I think the games balancing is off, especially in the dungeons. Progress is quickly halted by what feels like over the top spikes every time you beat a single level.
