About this app

UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is envisaged to make e-governance 'mobile first'. It is developed by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD).

It is an evolving platform designed for citizens of India to offer them access to the pan-India e-Gov services from the Central, State, Local Bodies, and Agencies of government on app, web, SMS, and IVR channels.

- Unified Platform: It brings together all government departments and their services on a single platform to provide better and easier services to citizens.
- Mobile First Strategy: It aligns all government services with the mobile first strategy to leverage mobile adoption trends.
- Integration with Digital India Services: It provides seamless integration with other Digital India Services like Aadhaar, DigiLocker, and PayGov. Any new such service will automatically be integrated with the platform.

- Secure and Scalable: It supports Aadhaar-based and other authentication mechanisms for service access. The sensitive profile data is saved in an encrypted format and no one can view this information.

Ratings and reviews

The app has been crashing non-stop. So, I cleared its data. Now, I cannot login to the app because they started using some stupid meripehchan login. The site gets digilockee error. Sign-up gets stuck on do not reload and later throws an action not allowed error. The app has been non-functional this whole time. Stupid useless app after RailOne.

I am facing continuous issues while using the UMANG app. It is not working properly and keeps showing errors while loading services. The app gets stuck frequently, and some options do not open at all. I tried updating and reinstalling, but the problem still remains. This app is supposed to make government services easier to access, but due to these technical issues, it becomes very frustrating. I request the team to fix the bugs and improve the performance so users can use the services smoothly

I applied for PF, but it's been over 21 days and the money hasn't been credited to my account. The app is extremely slow. Please keep this in mind and increase the speed of the app. We're having trouble. After some thought, I applied for PF. I have some pending work. I am very worried. Please transfer the money to my account within a short time.
