Just what I always wanted. works great!! some fine tuning is needed, for example long press a file to edit the current playlist etc.. but still worth it.

It's the best app I have used for controlling VLC. It's so intuitive that within 5 minutes, I was using it as if I'd had it for ages! Setup is a breeze. Just download it to your PC, enter the code generated onto your mobile, and you are up and running. It's better than a physical remote. Controls are clear, and you have all the features, such as turning subtitles on and off, lip sync etc. at your fingertips. That's the free "Lite" version. Browse your media files and much more with this version.

Great app wether you have the free version or paid. Most of what I watch for TV is on my computer and played through VLC. Tried other programs to use as a remote but they didn't work well or at all. Then I found this app, why didn't I type in vlc remote sooner. The free version is good but the paid version is well worth the cost if you use it as much as I do. Simple quick setup makes it even better. I give it 10 stars but Google will only let me give 5.
