About this app

VP Locate^TM is an easy to use and unique job site coordination tool. This powerful app helps VP Builders and erection crews maintain visibility of incoming orders, save time unloading and staging steel, and locate material on site to speed the installation process. There is no special hardware required – just use your smart device to;
• View the status of trucks loaded, in transit or on the jobsite in real-time
• View and search detailed truck and phase manifests
• Scan bills of lading, parts, and packages using the device’s camera
• Help locate materials on the jobsite with job site Map functions
• Use 3D Part search and display aides when staging materials to speed the installation process
• Wildcard search for parts, packages, or package contents
• Document and report field issues to Varco Pruden using the camera and communication features
• Coordinate with your VP Project Manager via phone or email and share pictures from your jobsite
• Access data through Cloud based technology allowing multiple users to operate independently
• Work offline and store data on the device then sync and update with the cloud when available

This version contains the following changes/fixes. More messaging when performing operations that take time. Refreshing the order list when order access has changed. Highlight color when a switch is toggled on. Delay before searching for parts to allow the user to complete typing (2 second delay). Searching message so the user knows the search is being performed. Message for downloading the builder list. Ability to run a field issues report for individual field issues. Permissions correction.
