Welcome to the VIN Veterinary Drug Handbook (VVDH)

This essential VINner tool was created by VIN Consultants with input from many other specialists, pharmacologists, and pharmacists. It includes basic drug information such as pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, indications, contraindications, therapeutic dosages, adverse events, and drug interactions for drugs commonly used in veterinary medicine. Whenever available, controlled studies and pharmacokinetic data are used to generate dosage information. However, some doses may be based on historical anecdotal use or published information from a case or case series. Listed references also include drug product information, textbook chapters, and conference proceedings.

The VVDH is regularly updated as new drugs and information emerge and with suggestions from VIN members.

Ratings and reviews

I can no longer sign in after getting a new phone. the app prompts you to sign out of your previous device, which is impossible if you no longer have it. There should be an option to log out of all devices if you are going to limit to having one device signed in.

So glad this app is finally out! I have already used it a couple dozen times. I can just pull it up wherever I am at in the clinic.

This release introduces several community-requested features, including:

- A new Notes icon to help you identify recently viewed articles with Notes attached.
- A Notes tab that consolidates and displays all Notes created in the VIN Veterinary Drug Handbook (VVDH), making it easier for you to review, manage, and access Notes in one place.
