It does what is says it does; you can play chess with voice commands. You can even play games on lichess via the app+lichess API, which is pretty cool. I sometimes have to repeat moves, so might be frustrating if playing faster time formats. You can use the phonetic alphabet, but I've actually found the speech recognition decent at understanding just the letter names. Fun to use for blindfold games.

Thanks for the review. I like -> "It does what it says it does." Speech recognition can be challenging. (Just ask Siri.) I'm pleased with the library I found. If you've got any suggestions please send them to me: henry@chessvis.com. Henry

I like it, sometimes it doesn't recognize the moves at first, but when repeating the same command, if the move is legal, it will work, I am only having problems moving pieces on the "D" file, if I say "play D4" it plays "B4" almost every time, pretty annoying considering I like to play the scotch game, when I try to develop the D pawn to attack the center, it plays B4 and just hangs my pawn 😂 other than that, an app u can actually play blindfolded, which is exactly what I wanted to try.

Thank you for the review! You can also use the "Nato" words: alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, echo, foxtrot, golf and hotel". Those are much easier for the speech recognizer. For example, try: "play delta four".
Again, thanks for using my program and the review.
