Not free of hassles and occasional unrecognition of the finger print reading. My organisation implemented it 2 years ago and I don't like it, especially when something happens to your mobile phone device and you are stuck outside the system you need another one in hand just in case and request that they send you a brand new QR code.

The app does not support a fallback to device-PIN entry without fingerprint-auth when the fingerprint sensor does not want to recognize your fingers anymore (Offline QR case). Having it would not decrease security at all, as one can add a new fingerprint to Android just by knowing the device-PIN... Additionally, it prevents working on GrapheneOS...

this app is a bit counter intuitive, because it does not tell you before trying to attempt a log in that you need to re-enroll you device due to changed biometrics. Second thing is that it does not have an option to adjust the camere focus while scanning a qr code, so you have retry it until it gets it right; might be different on other phones, but adjusting focus for a qr scanner is a really basic feature.
