UPDATING: I guess the lack of notifications doesn't matter to the app developer. No fix or improvement. Still disappointed. 🤬 When I installed this a year ago, the app would push out a notification when my gate opened or closed. About 3 months ago, it stopped sending notifications. When I check the app under my notifications, it now says that it does not send them. Very disappointed in this change.

App works once you go thru several rounds of connection attempts. Took me about 2.5 hours over 2 days. I've successfully connected other devices to my 2.4 band connection in a snap. So I don't think the issue was with my wifi. Also it only send email notifications now. Very odd and antiquated. But it works well enough to open and close the gate.

installation and operation is easy, intuitive and a snap. we have everything in our house on wifi (pool, a/c, sprinkler controllers, lights, security) and this module and it's app was the absolutely easiest to I stall, link up, and operate. my only criticism is with the gate status part of the app. The status text there is so light that it's barely readable on a cellphone. Great price too! The gate is very far from my router but the model picks up an extender signal easily.
