absolute garbage. in addition to the endless ads the radio station plays as a matter of course, the app also has ads. the app will quit randomly, at which point you need to close and reopen it, whereupon you need to listen to ads from the app again before it will resume streaming, and usually comes back in time to hear the radio based ads. avoid like the plague.

This is the worst app I ever had on my phone. Absolutely the worst. It's been bad for many years and seems to be getting worse. How can that be? The ads at the beginning are very annoying. But worst of all it is very unstable, as it constantly shuts down and you have to restart it, often having to relisten to the annoying ads. I have several streaming apps that work great. You will be a lot better off with less interruptions if use your browser and listen to WMAL on the radio station website.

I love the "hey Google" option to open the app, but what the hell good is it if I have to unlock the phone while on the road to close a visual ad? I understand the need for advertisment but, visual ads on apps that most people use while driving is nonsensical. On top of that, you'd think maybe I can just start the app before starting my trip...then it crashes so you'd have to go through the ad BS again.
