Ratings and reviews

This series (3 books completed so far) is an amazing read. I've reread these many times over the last few years. The author is fantastic at what they do. There's 4 romance options and many stats that affect how the story unfolds. The romance is an INCREDIBLY, FRUSTRATINGLY, slow-burn, with only mild flirting in the 1st book. However, I do feel the story is engaging enough that you don't really feel it as a big loss. Your choices are widely varied and affect the plot but not really the ending.

I have been waiting foreeeeever for this game, and when I went through my first playthrough last night at 9-ish, I didn't put it down till 12.30am! An honest opinion: I felt like it would be cooler and make the game feel a bit longer if the killer's identity was hidden for a bit longer- but ik this is a romance game, not a murder mystery. And I love the customisable detail of your detective's personality- but it's so hard to keep some stats how I want them! But that's just me being bad at games :P Otherwise, Adam is my one true love and Mason is so gonna be my friend. That's another point- it's not just romantic relationships you can get into. You can develop close friendships, your relationship with your mother can change for better or worse. It's so in-depth. I'm onto a second playthrough now- try the demo and enjoy!!

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. I was stuck in bed with illness and downloaded this app. I am not disappointed. Went through it in a day and there is so much to recommend it. Good storyline, good writing and so refreshing not to run the risk of being killed every couple of pages. I look forward to Book 2. The opening chapters really set the scene and the way the reader/player can develop the story has a natural feel to it. First 7 chapters are free to play and it's a fair price for the rest.
