I've had nothing but trouble with the Belkin Wemo Light Switch and app. The devices constantly disconnect from the network, even when all other smart devices in my home are working perfectly. Reconnecting them is an exercise in frustration. To make matters worse, they refuse to link up with Google Home. Despite following every troubleshooting guide and even resetting the devices multiple times, integration never succeeds. I wouldn’t recommend Wemo as a dependable smart home solution.

Well, not sure what to say except this app is utter rubbish. I changed broadband provider the other day so I had to set everything up again, I have multiple smart devices from Philips, Hive, etc and they all work fine. However, this app simply refuses to set up the smart plug, even though it worked fine before and I can see the app can detect the device. There are no alternative options or workarounds so I guess I'm stuck with a product that doesn't function.

I've finally had it with these switches. the software is poor and the sockets take ages to boot up. moving them to a different location takes ages to log on to the network. I've factory reset these more times than I care to remember. They are just rubbish. I had 6 of these and they are too much effort to maintain. I won't waste any more money with this shoddy company! There are loads of better options out there. Wemo are the most expensive and the most unreliable. Goodbye forever Belkin!
