Brief Description:
Abu Dhabi Customs Authority Mobile Inspection (ADCA Mobile Inspection) allows customs inspectors to conduct inspection on passengers coming to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi through air, land and seaports.
ADCA Mobile Inspection utilizes mobile, cameras, optical reader and touch screen technologies. Thus, provide customs inspectors the flexibility to conduct inspection activities in fast and robust manner by leveraging on secured connections, predefined checklists, integration with customs systems to retrieve and send passenger information, inspection results and customs violation records. Consequently, the inspector has an intuitive interface with very limited number of screens with mainly pre-populated data to interact with during the inspection activities.
Features (allow inspectors to):
1. Securely access the mobile application.
2. Receive inspection activities assigned through supervisors.
3. Read passengers’ passport and/or national ID numbers (utilizing the tablet’s camera as an optical reader) to retrieve stored document’s information and auto populate the information about the passenger.
4. Attach picture taken from tablet’s camera as part of the inspection evidences.
5. Integrate with customs system to search and/or synchronize passenger, inspection and violation related information.
6. Conduct inspection through predefined set of checklists covering different aspects (such as passenger’s luggage and passenger’s body).
7. Utilize the checklist items to provide more evidence during the inspection (as free text, attach images or documents, or response to basic predefined inspection question).
8. Provide final inspection statement and on-screen signature as part of the inspection result.
9. Trigger violation and holding processes from the tablet as part a result of an inspection.
