YTN · HUFS Debate Timer


This is a timer specially set for rules of YTN · HUFS English Debating Championship.

The bell rings automatically at certain times according to rules.

It is available for every single student worldwide for the elementary, middle, and high school division of YTN · HUFS English Debating Championship

Give it a try with this application before you participate. It will be used in the actual tournaments.

The following is the function currently supported.
Elem Division: Constructive Speech (4min) & Reply Speech (3min)
Mid Division: Constructive Speech (6min) & Reply Speech (3min)
High Division: Constructive Speech (8min) & Reply Speech (4min)

The bell rings once at the first minute, implying the end of protected time.
The bell rings once at the last one minute, implying the beginning of protected time.
The bell rings twice at the end of the given time for each speech.
The bell rings on and on after 30 seconds of a grace period.




The timer of applying the rule of YTN · HUFS English Debating Championship.

Depending on the competition rules, the paper sounds automatically at a specific time.

The YTN · HUFS English Debating Championship in elementary, middle, and high school competition is open to all students world.

Before participating in the competition, try to practice in this application is used in the actual competition.


Features that are currently supported are:

- Elementary speaker (4 minutes) and Respondent 3 (min)
- Middle school speakers (six minutes) and Respondent 3 (min)
- High school speakers (8 minutes) and Respondent 4 (minutes) is the setting.

- FIRST minutes per ring notify the remarks protected time off at this point
- Exit 1 minute ring once informing the remark protection reset time for the rest of the time
- rings twice to inform the remarks timeout
- Ring repeating the remark stating timeout after 30 seconds of grace timeout
