WHAT IS SHREDDING?
Shredding is a process of irreversible file destruction, so that its contents could not be recovered. Sometimes the same process is referred as erasing or wiping; we prefer to call it shredding in an analogy with paper shredding machines, which are used for disposing sensitive documents.

I was concerned by the low rating but this app has a nice simple and clean interface with few limitations on the free version. Able to select the SD drive with no limit on size of file. No ads yet. Only confusion is you must select the shred type in settings before you use the app. DOD 3-pass is available for free. Great app.

cant find a way how to sort files. So in big folders you need scroll ages till you get to the right file, but when you have it then app does what ti supposed to.

Very bad its not working at all I'm using it on android 13 one ui 5 after granting all requested permission when trying to shred a file it just keeps doing that animation and nothing happens even after 30 mins doesnt stop when i click on that big cross X solve this pls
