collectorbase is a mobile app that allows private art collectors and museums to communicate and collaborate.
collectorbase bridges the gap between private art collectors and museums, providing an opportunity for collectors to showcase their collections to a wider audience while offering museums access to unique and diverse art pieces for exhibitions.
How it works:
Private art collectors can create profiles, showcasing their collections with detailed information, expressing their interest in collaborating with museums.
Museums can also create profiles, browse through private collections, request artwork loans, and chat through a secure messaging system.
collectorbase Features:
User Profiles: Art collectors and museums can create profiles, upload images, and provide descriptions of their art collections.
Collection Showcases: Collectors can display their collections with high-quality images and information about each artwork, including artist name, medium, dimensions, location city, insurance value, and provenance. Collectors can also attach certificates of authenticity or other relevant documentation as PDFs.
Communication: Museums can send collaboration requests to collectors, expressing their interest in borrowing specific artworks for exhibitions. The app includes a secure messaging system for collectors and museums to discuss loan details, logistics, and exhibition arrangements.
