The Heater is great. This app is lacking. Set up didn't work. Had to enter the numbers manually. It has a Schedule feature that does not make any sense. It states it makes sure you heater is full. Well I hope it always is. They're not clear on what they mean by full & I don't want guess. What I would like is the ability to leverage capturing heat in peak times. If you could raise the temp during peak hours you could save money, but that's not an option.

Successfully connected via wifi (3rd QR code was the trick). But wow. What a dud of an app. WTH do 2 out of 3 bars mean? 80 degree water? 2/3s of tank is hot? Why can't we see temp of water? How about how long before the tank reaches full temp? This app is a remote on/off switch. Nothing more. Data history doesn't work. Scheduling barely works. Even mode switching gets confused if you change a setting on the heater vs the app. They get out of sync!

I was totally disappointed with this app. I could never get the bluetooth connection to work after many repeated attempts. I finally did get it to connect to the water heater using wifi, but it never shows any usage data instead displaying an error message "Unable to load energy usage data". I wanted to see how much time it was actually using the heat pump but it is not possible. The temperature adjust and mode change via this app does work but is not useful to me. I am uninstalling it.
