Designed to be used by mechanics, repair shops, garages, and motor vehicle servicing centers, mCarFix Mechanics App is part of the mCarFix Platform which seeks to address challenges faced by players and stakeholders within the entire motor vehicle sector both at local and global scene.
It achieves this by automating all critical engagements and processes that take place between customers and service providers in order to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
Like taxi-hailing apps that connect drivers with nearby motorists in need of transport, mCarFix Mechanics App connects mechanics, auto repairs shops, and servicing centers with motorists and motorcyclists near them who need their services and products thereby ensuring business keeps flowing to them.
It also lets owners of repair shops and servicing centers monitor and oversee the level of productivity in their organizations in real-time even when they are away.
Any request placed by a motorist who is in need of service reaches the nearby qualified mechanic, repair shop or servicing center with all critical information about the car including; vehicle make and model, chassis number, year of manufacture of the car, spare part number, graphical images of the problem noticed on the car or car part, or any noise or symptom that is associated with the problem. This enhances business delivery several folds.
The App has three modules:
1. Mechanics Module- for a mechanic who does not have an auto repairs shop. They are usually specialists in a particular part of a motor vehicle e.g., engine, body, gearbox, etc.
2. Basic Garage Module- an auto repairs shop that does not stock spare parts.
3. Premium Garage Module- an Auto repairs shop that also stocks spare parts.
It’s during registration on the mCarFix platform that a mechanic decides which of the three modules best suits his or her business.
